Synopsis

Yul Brynner (1920–1985) was a Russian-American actor and filmmaker known for his distinctive presence and contributions to film, theater, and television. Rising to prominence as a sex symbol in the early 20th century, he was often compared to Rudolph Valentino in terms of exotic appeal. Brynner's career spanned multiple continents and artistic disciplines, beginning in Parisian cabarets before moving to Broadway and eventually Hollywood.
