Synopsis

*London Paris New York* is a film that explores the emotional and psychological challenges of one's twenties, a time marked by career decisions, first significant relationships, and the formation of personal identity. The story centers on Lalitha, a middle-class South Indian girl from Chembur, an eastern suburb of Mumbai, who travels to New York on a full scholarship to study politics, and Nikhil, a Punjabi man from Bandra, a wealthy western suburb of Mumbai, who goes to London to study filmmaking, fully funded by his father. After spending an evening together in London, they feel a strong connection despite the fact that their futures lie on opposite sides of the world. The film chronicles their individual journeys and evolving relationship as they meet in London, Paris, and New York for a night each over the course of eight years. Divided into three chapters, the film mirrors the mental and emotional states of Nikhil and Lalitha through its distinct visual style in each section.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 18

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
