Maid in Manhattan
A hardworking Manhattan hotel maid who dreams of a better future seizes a chance at love with a charismatic senatorial candidate, but must conceal her true identity as stark class differences threaten to expose their romance and jeopardize both their lives.
“...love checks in.”
Synopsis
Marisa Ventura is a single mother working at a high-end Manhattan hotel while raising her young son and hoping for a better future. One day, hotel guest and senatorial candidate Christopher Marshall encounters Marisa and mistakenly believes she is a wealthy socialite. After a romantic evening together, they fall deeply in love. However, when Marisa's true identity is discovered, differences in class and social status begin to strain their relationship. As they face the challenges of their contrasting worlds, the question remains whether they can overcome their differences and find lasting happiness together.

A crew of 114+ credited
Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.

✅ Made its money back — grossed 2.8× its budget
Why 2.5×?
Cinemas keep roughly half of every ticket sold, and a wide release’s marketing often costs about as much again as the film — so a movie needs to gross around 2.5× its production budget just to break even theatrically. It’s a rule of thumb, not the studio’s ledger (home video and streaming come later).
