Money Mad
Synopsis
The central character is an elderly miser, somewhat akin to Harpagon, who, like Frosine, hides his ill-gotten wealth in a secret cellar. While the miser is at the bank, exchanging stolen notes for gold coins, a pair of thugs observe the exchange and recognize their opportunity—apparently, avarice holds sway over the hearts of all who seek to claim the bag.
