Move Over, Darling

Three years into their marriage, Nicholas Arden and Ellen Wagstaff Arden are traveling by plane when it crashes in the South Pacific. Most passengers survive the crash, but Ellen is presumed dead after being swept from her lifeboat, her body never found. Five years later, Nicholas has Ellen declared legally dead and begins to rebuild his life, including marrying Bianca Steele. He plans a honeymoon at the Monterrey resort where he and Ellen had theirs. On the same day, Ellen is returned to Los Angeles by the Navy, having survived alone on a South Pacific island for the past five years. She requests that the Navy keep her rescue quiet and not inform Nicholas, intending to reveal her return on her own terms.
