Synopsis

Irene Bullock, a socialite living on Fifth Avenue, is in search of a "forgotten man" to help her win a scavenger hunt. She finds just the person in Godfrey Park, a man who lives in a dump along the East River. Irene hires Godfrey as a servant to work for her eccentric family, much to the dismay of her spoiled sister, Cornelia, who makes it her mission to have him fired. As Irene grows fond of her new butler, Godfrey begins to turn the situation in his favor, offering the frivolous Bullocks a few well-earned lessons.
