Synopsis
Set in 17th‑century France under Louis XIII, the story follows the noble swordsman Henri de Lagardère, who seeks vengeance after his close friend, the Duke of Nevers, is assassinated by a powerful relative; he also strives to protect the duke’s surviving heir.
