Synopsis
Televangelist Bobby Paradise claims he "saw God" in some space debris while returning to Earth as an astronaut. Alternatively, he was convinced of this experience by his wife, a Cape Canaveral groupie during his time with NASA. Together, they have built an extensive television empire. When their proposal to merge with a somewhat tarnished mogul is investigated by the government, skeletons in the Paradise family's past come to light, prompting members of the family to either rally behind or disparage the enterprise.
