Biography

Barbara Lynn Herzstein, known professionally as Barbara Hershey, is an American actress whose career spans more than five decades. She has performed in a variety of television and film roles across genres including Westerns, horror, and comedy. Hershey began her acting career at age 17 in 1965, but did not achieve widespread critical recognition until the 1980s. At that time, the Chicago Tribune described her as "one of America's finest actresses."
