Synopsis

Michael Alig entered the vibrant New York club scene of the 1980s and 1990s, a period known for its extravagant and colorful nightlife. Hailing from an unremarkable background, Alig gained prominence under the guidance of experienced club figure James St. James. Rising swiftly to the pinnacle of the scene, Alig's success was followed by a decline, as the heights he reached left little room for further ascent.
