Synopsis

Perry is at TV station "KGGY" for an interview, but the main anchor, Brett Huston, intervenes and cancels it. Brett is widely disliked because he knows the station workers' secrets and has written a memo that insults several key staff members: Vic St. John, the station manager; Twyla Cooper, the producer; Chuck Gilmore, the sports reporter; Gary Slate, the weatherman; Cassie Woodfield, the reporter; and Gillian Pope. Brett is later shot dead with Gillian's gun, leading to her arrest. Gillian contacts Perry, Della, and Ken to investigate. As Della and Perry begin to uncover the truth, Ken grows close to Cassie, who is a suspect. When it becomes apparent that someone is trying to kill her, the case becomes more complicated.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 20

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
