Synopsis
BBC One presents *Peter Pan Goes Wrong*, a comedy from the Olivier Award-winning Mischief Theatre. As part of its support for community theatre, the BBC has commissioned The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society, an amateur group, to stage their version of the J.M. Barrie classic as part of the festive lineup. Narrated by David Suchet and performed in front of a live audience, the production features Peter Pan taking to the skies, Captain Hook and his pirates adrift in a lagoon, and Tinkerbell set to appear in an elaborate electrical costume. Audiences can expect the group’s signature brand of humor, including stunts, technical difficulties, flying mishaps, and cast disagreements, all leading to a chaotic journey to Neverland with both comedic and disastrous outcomes.
