Synopsis

In early 19th-century England, Mr. and Mrs. Bennet are the parents of five daughters. Mr. Bennet, a gentleman of some means, is known for his wit and dry humor, while Mrs. Bennet is preoccupied with the idea of marrying off her daughters to wealthy suitors. Their estate, Longbourn, is entailed, meaning it cannot be inherited by their daughters and will instead pass to a distant male relative, Mr. Collins. When the wealthy and eligible bachelor Mr. Bingley moves into the neighborhood, Mrs. Bennet is determined to secure one of her daughters as his bride. His friend, the proud and reserved Mr. Darcy, initially appears aloof and disdainful, particularly toward the impulsive and spirited Elizabeth Bennet. As the story unfolds, misunderstandings and social expectations challenge the relationships between the characters, ultimately leading to personal growth and unexpected romantic developments.

The scale of the collaboration

A crew of 46+ credited

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
