Synopsis

John Reed was a prominent American journalist whose career coincided with the revolutionary years of the early 20th century. He became known for his active involvement in the socialist movement and his deep commitment to the ideals of the Russian Revolution. Reed sought to promote these principles within the American working class, believing in their potential to inspire social change. During this period, he was also in a complex romantic relationship with the writer Louise Bryant, whose life and career were closely intertwined with his own.
