Synopsis
A television movie set in Rockville, Georgia, in 1972. Major Kendall Laird, a Survival Assistance Officer, arrives in the small town with the body of Lieutenant Dwyte Johnson, a Vietnam War hero. Laird's task is to assist Johnson's parents in burying their son. However, because the deceased hero is Black, his parents are refused entry to the town's "all-white" cemetery by white racists.
