Synopsis

Evelyn Salt is a CIA officer who has sworn an oath to duty, honor, and country. Her loyalty is called into question when a Russian defector accuses her of being a Russian sleeper agent. As a result, Salt goes on the run, drawing on her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to evade capture, protect her husband, and stay ahead of her colleagues at the CIA. Her attempts to prove her innocence instead raise further suspicion about her true motives, as the investigation into her identity continues, leaving the central question unresolved: "Who is Salt?"
