Schutzengel
Synopsis
Nina, a 15‑year‑old orphan, witnesses a serious crime that endangers her life. Corrupt businessman Thomas Backer orders five assassins to eliminate her, and witness‑protection officer Max—a former special‑forces soldier—is assigned to protect her. Although they begin at odds, they eventually find common ground while on the run from Backer. During their flight, Rudi, one of Max’s former comrades, assists them and continues to aid them in several precarious situations. Max’s ex‑girlfriend Sara also becomes involved, acting as a federal prosecutor who helps him. As the danger escalates, both Nina and Max find themselves in need of protection, with Max likewise requiring a guardian.
