Biography

Til Schweiger, born Tilman Valentin Schweiger, is a German actor and filmmaker who rose to prominence in the 1990s with films such as *Manta, Manta*, *Der bewegte Mann*, and *Knockin' on Heaven's Door*. He later expanded his career to international productions, appearing in *Inglourious Basterds*, *Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life*, and *King Arthur*. Schweiger founded his own production company, Barefoot Films, through which he directed, produced, and starred in several successful films. Notable works include *Rabbit Without Ears*, *Rabbit Without Ears 2*, *Kokowääh*, and *Head Full of Honey*, which attracted large audiences and established him as one of Germany's most commercially successful filmmakers.
