Synopsis

Richthofen joins the war effort alongside thousands of other men, serving as a fighter pilot. These pilots become cult heroes among the soldiers on the front lines. Characterized by their sportsmanlike conduct, technical precision, and chivalrous behavior, they adhere to their own code of honor. However, he soon realizes that his heroic image is misleading. His relationship with Kate, a nurse, helps him see the true brutality of war.
