She Made Me a Criminal
Synopsis
The film follows a young, naive man who is determined to repair his house before it collapses but lacks the financial means to do so. He becomes involved with a wealthy young woman who spends money impulsively, whose father, a miser, refuses to grant her access to her trust fund. To compel her father into giving her money, the woman orchestrates a staged kidnapping with the help of her best friend and the naive young man, who eventually falls in love with her.
