Synopsis
This compilation showcases classic performances from Southern rock bands that emerged from the Deep South in the 1970s, drawn from shows such as the Old Grey Whistle Test, In Concert, and even Wogan. It features clips of Southern rock boogie at its finest, including appearances by the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Delaney & Bonnie with Eric Clapton, Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band, the Marshall Tucker Band, Black Oak Arkansas, the Charlie Daniels Band, Greg Allman with then-wife Cher, Edgar Winter, and, of course, Lynyrd Skynyrd.
