Synopsis

Parole officer Jack Mabry is nearing retirement and is focused on wrapping up the cases assigned to him. One of these cases involves Gerald "Stone" Creeson, a convicted arsonist who is eligible for parole. Jack is initially resistant to Stone's attempts at provocative conversation and shows little compassion for his requests for early release. When Stone finds it difficult to sway Jack directly, he enlists his wife to seduce the officer, leading to a complex situation where motives become increasingly unclear as hidden secrets and intense emotions complicate the dangerous game of deception.
