Synopsis
When a Supreme Court judge commits suicide and his secretary is found murdered, all evidence points to Carl Anderson, a homeless veteran who is deaf and mute. Public defender Kathleen Riley, assigned to his case, begins to suspect that Anderson may be innocent. Juror Eddie Sanger, a Washington lobbyist, shares her belief, and the two launch their own investigation into the events surrounding the crimes.
