Synopsis

A series of disappearances occurs near the sea, with victims' bodies later discovered reduced to skeletons, their marrow completely absent. Scientists are unable to identify any known animal capable of such destruction. Dr. Turner begins to suspect that the company constructing a tunnel beneath the bay may have contaminated the environment, leading to the mutation of an octopus to enormous proportions.
