Synopsis

Terkel, a sixth-grader, begins experiencing a string of misfortunes after sitting on a black spider. Shortly after, his teacher dies and is replaced by the enigmatic Justin. At home, Terkel's uncle, Stewart, starts having unpredictable outbursts of anger, while at school, Terkel becomes the target of bullying by two classmates who discover that the overweight Doris has a crush on him. During a school camping trip, Terkel begins receiving death threats and must determine who is trying to kill him.
