Synopsis

Virgil Oldman is an antiques expert and auctioneer who lives a solitary life and avoids close human relationships. He is appointed by Claire to oversee the valuation and sale of her family’s priceless art collection. During this work, Virgil forms an attachment to Claire, leading to a passionate involvement that disrupts his previously bland existence.
