The Bishop's Wife
An ambitious Episcopal bishop races to secure a wealthy widow’s donation for his dream cathedral, only to have an unconventional angel intervene and challenge his priorities before the project—and his family—fall apart.
“Have you heard about Cary and the bishop's wife?”
Synopsis
Henry Brougham, an Episcopal Bishop, has spent months developing plans for an elaborate new cathedral, which he hopes will be primarily funded by a wealthy and stubborn widow. In his pursuit, he begins to neglect his family and the reasons that originally inspired him to become a churchman. Enter Dudley, an angel sent to assist him. While Dudley helps everyone he meets, his methods are not always what they expect. Though everyone except Henry comes to love Dudley, the bishop starts to believe that Dudley is there to replace him, both in his professional role and within his family.

Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
