The Boy and the Beast
A streetwise orphan stumbles into a hidden realm of beasts and must earn the trust of a gruff guardian while battling rival monsters and his own doubts to find a way back home.
“In a world of beasts, he found a family.”
Synopsis
Kyuta is a boy who lives in Shibuya, while Kumatetsu is a solitary creature from Jutengai, an imaginary world. One day, Kyuta enters this imaginary realm and, while searching for a way back, encounters Kumatetsu, who becomes his spirit guide. This meeting leads the two on a series of adventures.

How many hands made this film
The scale of the collaboration
Principal cast & crew: 18
These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.
Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.

Every stage matters — pitch decks and treatments from development, location scouts and table-reads from pre-production, set photos and crew anecdotes from production, edit-bay notes from post, and press kits, festival memories, or marketing ephemera from distribution. Any moment that didn't make the press tour, any document or photograph that's been sitting in a box — please share it so it's not lost to time.
