Synopsis
Jack McKee is a successful and affluent doctor with no apparent problems until he is diagnosed with throat cancer. As he experiences medicine, hospitals, and the role of a doctor from the perspective of a patient, he comes to understand that being a doctor involves more than just surgery and prescriptions.
