Synopsis
Charlotte Cartwright, a wealthy socialite, and her close friend Alice Pratt, a working-class woman with strong ideals, have shared a deep and enduring friendship over many decades. Their lives are now disrupted by the turmoil caused by their adult children's extramarital affairs, unethical business dealings, and a dark secret that threatens to destroy their family's reputation and stability. Seeking respite from the chaos, Charlotte and Alice embark on a cross-country road trip, hoping to rediscover themselves and find a way to prevent their families from falling into ruin.
