Synopsis
Jeffrey Willis, a teenage boy from Brooklyn, is dissatisfied with his simple home life and becomes increasingly drawn to the glamorous world of his summer job at the upscale Flamingo Club. He begins to distance himself from his father, instead seeking the approval of the charismatic Phil Brody. Jeffrey is also captivated by Carla Samson, a club member whose presence adds to the allure of the club's lifestyle. However, through a series of difficult experiences later in the summer, he ultimately comes to understand the importance of family.
