The Green Hornet
When estranged heir Britt takes over his late father's newspaper, he partners with a martial‑arts–trained mechanic to become the masked vigilante “Green Hornet,” intent on dismantling a ruthless Russian mob boss’s empire before the law can stop him. Their high‑octane crusade pits them against a deadly crime syndicate and a skeptical district attorney determined to expose their secret identity.
“Breaking the Law to Protect It.”
Synopsis
Britt Reid, heir to the largest newspaper fortune in Los Angeles, is a spoiled playboy who has, thus far, led an aimless life. After his father's death, Britt meets Kato, a resourceful company employee. Recognizing that they have the talent and resources to make something of their lives, Britt and Kato join forces as costumed crime-fighters to bring down the city's criminal underworld.

Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.

⚖️ Fell short of break-even — grossed 1.9× its budget
Why 2.5×?
Cinemas keep roughly half of every ticket sold, and a wide release’s marketing often costs about as much again as the film — so a movie needs to gross around 2.5× its production budget just to break even theatrically. It’s a rule of thumb, not the studio’s ledger (home video and streaming come later).
