Synopsis

In 2012, Hong Kong, which had been a British crown colony, marks the 15th anniversary of its return to the People's Republic of China. To commemorate the occasion, the Haiman Collection, a remarkable assembly of art treasures, is set to be unveiled to the public for the first time. The exhibition is curated by Victoria Philips, an art expert from Berlin. However, the night after her arrival, all the exhibits are stolen. Victoria must find high-quality replacements, but she faces resistance from Chinese collectors who are skeptical of a European woman. She receives unexpected assistance from Edward Lim, a prominent nightclub owner who is deeply interested in her. As Inspector Braddock begins to suspect Lim's involvement in the theft of the Haiman Collection, Victoria finds herself caught in an emotional conflict.
