Synopsis

In 1956, in Pennsylvania, Frank Sheeran, an Irish-American war veteran working as a truck driver, meets mobster Russell Bufalino by chance. As he earns Bufalino's trust, he is sent to Chicago to assist Jimmy Hoffa, a powerful union leader with ties to organized crime. Frank and Hoffa develop a close relationship that lasts for nearly twenty years.
