The Killing Gene
“Would you kill the one you love to save yourself from death?”
Synopsis
Bodies are discovered in the dark city streets, some mutilated and others marked with the Price equation (wΔz = Cov (w,z) = βwzVz) carved into their skin. Detectives Eddie Argo and Helen Westcott investigate and uncover the significance of the equation, realizing each victim is presented with a brutal choice: kill their loved ones or face death themselves. As the investigation progresses, it becomes evident that the perpetrator has endured a similar fate and is now attempting to resolve the philosophical dilemma through their violent actions.
