Biography

Melissa Suzanne George is an Australian-American actress who began her career in the Australian soap opera *Home and Away*, portraying Angel Parrish from 1993 to 1996. After moving to the United States, she made her feature film debut in 1998 with a supporting role in the tech noir film *Dark City*. George later took on leading roles, including in the 2005 remake of *The Amityville Horror*, which increased her visibility. She went on to appear in notable films such as the thriller *Derailed* (2005), *30 Days of Night* (2007), and the genre film *Triangle* (2009).
