Synopsis

On 9 April 1940, German forces arrive in Oslo, marking the beginning of Nazi Germany's invasion of Norway. The King of Norway is confronted with a pivotal decision that will have lasting consequences for the country. *The King's Choice* portrays the three most dramatic days in Norway's history, focusing on the royal family's escape and the difficult choice faced by King Haakon in the wake of the invasion.
