Two restless Texas teens wrestle with love, loyalty, and looming adulthood as they decide whether to abandon their dying hometown for uncertain futures.

Synopsis
Sonny and Duane are high school seniors and best friends living in a struggling town in Texas. Duane, who is good-looking, is in a relationship with a local beauty, while Sonny is involved in an affair with the wife of the town's coach. As graduation approaches and they begin to consider their futures, Duane considers joining the army, while Sonny takes over a local business. Both face the challenge of deciding whether they can leave their dead-end town and create better lives elsewhere.
