Synopsis
This documentary explores the films of Alfred Hitchcock. Hitchcock himself is featured in extensive interviews, in which he discusses topics such as his fear of policemen, the distinction between shock and suspense, the concept of a "MacGuffin," and his use of storyboarding in film production. The film includes clips from several of his most notable works, including *North by Northwest*, *Shadow of a Doubt*, *The Birds*, and the famous shower scene from *Psycho*. These clips are often accompanied by Hitchcock's own voice-over commentary, with additional insights provided by narrator Cliff Robertson.
