Synopsis

After being released from a mental institution where she was recovering from a suicide attempt, Andrea McBride applies for a nanny position with Dr. James Lewis, a wealthy and handsome surgeon who is a widower with two children. Although another applicant is initially hired, she dies in an accident, and Andrea is given the job. She excels in her role and quickly becomes an integral part of the family. Then Dr. Lewis's girlfriend, Dr. Julia Bruning, is found murdered under mysterious circumstances. Shortly after, Lewis's hospital boss is also killed, following a conversation about impending cutbacks. Meanwhile, Lewis's teenage daughter, Fawn, begins to investigate Andrea's past and uncovers troubling connections to the recent deaths, suggesting she may be responsible for the killings. Fawn realizes she must act quickly, as the murders are becoming increasingly personal.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 23

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
