Synopsis

Set in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1991, the story follows Charlie, a high school freshman who keeps to himself, observing life from the edges. He begins to open up when two senior students, Sam and her stepbrother Patrick, take him under their wing, guiding him toward new experiences in friendship, music, and love.
