Synopsis

Before the outbreak of World War II, a young, tomboyish postulant at an Austrian abbey is hired as a governess for a widowed naval captain living in Salzburg with his seven children. Her arrival brings a renewed sense of joy, warmth, and a rediscovery of music into the household.
