Synopsis

In Italy, newlyweds Wanda and Ivan Cavalli, from a small town, begin their honeymoon in Rome. Ivan is focused on keeping appointments with family and church, while Wanda is more interested in meeting her favorite pin-up star, known as "The White Sheik." As Wanda impulsively sneaks away in pursuit of her idol, Ivan, left alone, makes an effort to maintain appearances in front of the couple's relatives.
