Synopsis
After returning from his World War II military service, Nick Garcos intends to start a quiet life with his girlfriend, Polly Faber. However, he discovers that his father has been recently attacked and robbed by Mike Figlia, a trucker with ties to the mob. Determined to seek justice, Nick teams up with Rica, a prostitute, and they set out to confront Mike, gradually becoming entangled in the city's criminal underworld.
