Three on a Limb
Synopsis
Scoutmaster Elmer Brown falls in love with a carhop who works at a drive-in diner. His romantic feelings are complicated by the fact that she is engaged to a policeman. Determined to remove Elmer from the picture, the fiancé begins giving him traffic tickets for every minor violation he can find. Moved by Elmer's plight, the girl decides to run off with him. She reveals that she is also being pursued by another man named Oscar, and the situation becomes even more tangled when it is revealed that her father supports the policeman while her mother favors Oscar. The conflict culminates in a chaotic wedding ceremony where all three men compete for her hand, ultimately resulting in Elmer successfully winning her affection.
