Three flamboyant New York drag queens set out on a cross‑country road trip to make it to the Los Angeles Nationals in time, battling prejudice, mishaps and their own egos along the way.

Synopsis
Manhattan drag queens Vida Boheme and Noxeema Jackson earn spots in the Nationals in Los Angeles after impressing regional judges in a competition. Later, they encounter Chi-Chi Rodriguez, a struggling drag novice who had been one of the evening's losers, and are so taken by her that they decide to mentor her. The three then embark on a chaotic road trip across the United States, determined to reach Los Angeles in time for the competition.
