RuPaul Andre Charles is an American drag queen, television host, singer, producer, writer, and actor. He is best known for producing, hosting, and judging the reality competition series *RuPaul's Drag Race*. Widely recognized as the "Queen of Drag," RuPaul has received numerous accolades, including 14 Primetime Emmy Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, a Critics' Choice Television Award, five GLAAD Media Awards, a Tony Award, and a Guinness World Records title. He is considered the most commercially successful drag queen in the United States and was named one of the most influential people in the world in 2017 by *Time* magazine.
