Synopsis
In rural Georgia in 1977, a young girl who feels out of place nurtures a dream of life among the stars. When a national contest presents an opportunity to have her voice recorded on NASA’s Golden Record, she gathers a group of fellow Birdie Scouts to help her pursue the chance, forming friendships that endure for many years.
