Synopsis
Diane Ford is a truck driver who lives alone with an 11‑year‑old son named Peter, whom she does not see regularly and is content with this arrangement. When Peter’s father, Len, becomes ill, he asks Diane to look after their son for a period of time. Diane reluctantly agrees, but soon discovers that caring for a child disrupts her independent lifestyle, and Peter is also dissatisfied with the situation.
