Synopsis
Eddie Dodd is a disillusioned former civil rights lawyer who now focuses on defending drug dealers. Roger Baron, a recent law school graduate, has long admired Eddie's high-profile cases and seeks to learn from him. Encouraged by Roger's idealism, Eddie agrees—reluctantly—to take on the case of a young Korean man, whose mother claims has been imprisoned for eight years for a murder he did not commit.
